I am a retired Registered Nurse who spent almost 30 years serving our country in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Nursing Officer. While serving in the military I taught Medical Assistants both in the classroom and in hospital settings. I am therefore very familiar with the importance of what it means to be a teacher. I have served as a board member for national and provincial groups that strive to protect the lives of vulernable human beings. I am happily active in my parish where I volunteer to do a variety of behind the scenes types of chores. To the best of my ability, I strive to uphold a high level of moral values and I strongly believe in the work done by PAFE. As an elected politician I will work diligently to advocate that parents be the first educators of their children and I will fight to cancel the new sex ed curriculum developed under the former Liberal Government and sadly upheld by the present Conservative Government.
